Sugar nightmares!

Easter was a lot of FUN!!!

Saturday we went to Calgary and spent the day with Darren's family. It was great hearing all the laughter in and out of the house. There were about 40 people there and 10 of them were under the age of 7. It was awesome!

We left around 7:45pm and were heading to the mall (I needed to buy runners). As we reached Deerfoot, there was a Ambulance laying on it's side. Here's the link to the story. Darren's sister and BIL had left moments before us and saw the accident. It was such a scarey thing to think about. http://www.calgaryherald.com/news/Four+hospital+after+Avenue+ambulance+crash/1489615/story.html

On Sunday we went to son rise service (8am) then headed to Medicine Hat to Grandma's house. The whole side of the family was there! It has been the first time in over a couple of years that EVERYONE was there. There were about 20 people in the house. Good thing it was nice outside and we were able to easter egg hunt outside.

I ate way too much sweets yesterday. We had Angel food cake and no bake cheese cake. Plus all the chocolate mini eggs laying around. I felt horrible last night from all that sugar. I think I've learned my lesson.

Weight in today was horrible! Up 1.5lbs! But I know how that happened and I am back on track starting today!

Goals for today:
1) Make sure I am drinking at least 2 L of water (missed out on that this weekend) Next time maybe bring my own water bottle so that I am making sure I am drinking enough, those small glasses are a pain to fill all the time
2) watch my sugar intake
3) watch my sodium intake
4) walk to work, (30 minutes activity) and add additional activity tonight

  2. The only problem with the angel food cake was that it had a wonderful sticky icing (egg whites and corn syrup....yummmy!)
