It's been a week...

I have pictures to add but of course they are sitting in my camera... maybe if I have time tonight (or remember I will add them)

So, it's been a week since I have made an entry. It has flown by! On the weekend we celebrated my mom's 50th birthday! It was a wonderful time. I had about 25 people at the house, thank goodness for a nice big yard! I made a 4 bean salad (huge hit) and a waldorf (cabbage and apple) salad (even bigger hit!). We served homemade hamburgers. (Everything tasted wonderful and being able to visit with everyone was great!)

I'm getting used to my hair, trying to figure out how to style it has been a challenge, I have pieces that have minds of there own and don't do what I tell them. Today I think I found an easy way to make it look nice! I bobby pinned my bangs back and left the rest to flow into place.

I'm heading to Calgary next Wednesday with Andrea to see her do one of her last dress fittings! It'll be exciting to see what the dress looks like and to send some quality time with her!

I made Taco's last night, but didn't have any hamburger so I used sliced up steak instead. I added a few brown mushrooms and taco seasoning to it. I made some homemade cornmeal soft taco shells. It was fantastic! On the side we had raw veggies.

Darren and I decided to walk over to Janessa's to drop off a CD. It took us 40 minutes there and 40 minutes back. It was such a nice walk, I only wish the mosquitoes weren't so bad!
