Feeling pretty good!

I thought that daylight savings would chew me up and spit me out but it turns out I feel awesome this morning. Darren had the alarm set for 6am and I actually was awake a little bit before the alarm went off. I refused to get out of bed that early so I dozed off and on until 7:15am. (got out of bed without setting the second alarm!) I felt energetic and perky! I can't remember the last time I felt like this.....maybe during the summer last year... before all this pregnancy stuff came up.

Food for the weekend:
Friday night: Darren made hamburgers, I put avocado, Hellman's, cheese slice and BBQ sauce on mine. SO Good! On the side I had an apple.
Saturday: Wasn't to hungry but for brunch I had a toasted bagel with homemade strawberry jam, some grapes and a glass of milk. Had a few little snacks during the day. For supper we went out to Athenai's (local family restaurant), I ordered a baked french onion soup(best in the world), and the smallest pizza they made(there were lots of left overs), I did have some of Darren's, he ordered mozza sticks, half order of greek salad (which would have feed 4) and some sort of pasta dish. (We had the same thing for lunch the next day)
Sunday supper: We went grocery shopping and I really wanted a grilled cesaer salad. So I bought some romaine lettuce (must be out of season), croutons, freshly grated parmesan cheese, and chicken. It was FANTASTIC! Exactly what I needed. For dessert (as we were watching the Van vs Cal hockey game, poor Calg fans) I made Pillsbury cinnamon rolls. I served them with fresh strawberries.
Tonight: Darren is going to make a pork chop dish with scalloped potatoes and some sort of veggies on the side. I love it when he cooks, even though I end up having to clean up after him.

I gave in, I bought strawberry pop tarts. I know they aren't the best in nutrion for me but man they tasted like I was 10 again. :) (I did balance them out with grapes, strawberries, and yogurt)

Tonight I think we will go watch Kayley sing at the music festival. I just love listening to her sing.

I'm getting prepared to write my level two exam on the 29th of this month. I'm a little anxious. Hopefully we can help Eric, Nat and Ryan move there stuff to the house since they helped us soo much! It all depends if Darren can get off field work that weekend.... crossing fingers.... I think that might also be the weekend of Jen's Easter concert....
